Quicken Error OL-307 (Quicken For Windows/Mac)

Quicken Error OL-307 comes up when downloading the transactions from the financial institution using the one-step update.  It can arise in Quicken for Mac and Windows.

QUICKEN FOR WINDOWS

STEP ONE: Ensure that Quicken is running with the latest release

  • Open Quicken
  • Go to Help > Check for Updates
  • If Quicken is up to date that’s great or if not you’ll get a notification to install the latest release on the next screen
  • Click Yes to install it
  • It may take some time or move out for installing the latest update, but you don’t need to worry about your work it will be saved.

STEP TWO: Deactivate account that has this error

  • Go to Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A)
  • Click Edit on the account that has this error code
  • Go to Online Services
  • Click Deactivate
  • Click Yes to confirm account deactivation
  • Hit OK and Done.
  • Do the same for other accounts that have Quicken Error Code OL-307-A

STEP THREE: Reactivate the account

  • Go to Tools > Account List (Ctrl+A)
  • Click Edit on the account who has any of these error code
  • Select Online Services
  • Click Set up Now…
  • Type your financial institution credential (Username/Password)
  • Make a check on Save this password  (It may ask you to put Vault password or type Quicken ID & password)

Important:  As Quicken is no more part of Intuit it’s necessary to all the users to create Quicken ID 

  • Click Connect
  • Once account found LINK the account instead of adding it

  • Click Next and then Finish
  • Do the same for the other accounts that are in question

QUICKEN FOR MAC

STEP ONE: Check for the latest update

  • Click on Quicken menu
  • Select Check for Update
  • If an update is available you’ll get three options Skip this version, Remind me later, Install Update
  • Click on Install Update to run Quicken with the latest release

STEP TWO: Deactivate the account that is in question

  • Go to the account register from the left-hand side account bar
  • Click on Settings at the bottom right corner
  • Select Troubleshooting > Deactivate downloads
  • Click Save

STEP THREE: Reactivate the account

  • Go to the account register from the left-hand side account bar
  • Click on Settings gear icon at the bottom right-hand side corner
  • Click on Setup Transaction Download
  • Choose the financial institution and type the credential for it
  • In the process of connecting a bank account, Quicken will pull up your bank information. Make sure to LINK an account instead of adding it.
